Polaris Networks today released the latest version (Release 2.2.0) of its ATCA-Tester. The previous version was 2.0.0.

This new release fixes several outstanding problems arising out of differing interpretation of the EC-002 and (details available with release note) and makes the tester fully compliant with PICMG® 3.0 R2.0 AdvancedTCA® Base Specification ECN-002. This release handles most of the Change Requests (CR) addressed by the PICMG 3.0 R3.0.

This release also includes HPM.1 test cases to test the HPM.1 compliance of the device under test making the tester addressing PICMG HPM.1 R1.0 dated May 4, 2007.

This release also includes complete detailed decodes of RMCP, IPMI and HPM packets exchanged between the tester and the ATCA Shelf.

The ATCA-Tester continues to serve as the IPMI Manageability Test Tool for the Communication Platforms Trade Association’s (CP-TA) certification test suite and is currently in use worldwide at leading companies involved with the ATCA technology. This release will be used by CP-TA for its interoperability workshop to be help in San Francisco during the month of March, 2008.
