LTE Protocol Stack Engineer (Ref. ID/LTEPSE)
Designation: LTE Protocol Stack Engineer
Responsibilities:
- To carry out technical development, testing and support activities for LTE protocol stack software.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience of 3GPP Protocol software design
- Good understanding of 3GPP LTE protocol and system architecture
- Familiar with source control, version control and bug tracking software
- Experience in Unit-testing and System testing
- Experience of embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and microprocessor architectures
- Skilled in working with third parties on implementation and integration issues
- The candidate will have 4-8 years design/implementation experience in 2G/3G or LTE 3GPP protocol stack software.
Desired Technical Background
Good English speaking and writing skills.
Educational Requirements:
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:-
- Experience of using lab based testing equipment
- Experience of using real-time embedded debug tools/emulators
- Experience of 3GPP GCF and Inter-Operability Testing (IOT)
- Good system architecture understanding
- On-site customer support experience
- Ability to travel for validation/customer support
- Knowledge of support tools, processes and scripting languages
